SUSTAINABILITY

Green Chemistry, also known as Sustainable Chemistry can be seen as the association of chemical development and the pursuit of self-sustainability.

The Green Chemistry products or processes can be divided into three broad categories:
- The use of renewable sources or recycled raw material;

- Increased energy efficiency or to use less energy to produce the same or greater amount of product;

- Avoid the use of persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic substances.
